Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where control means ownership of 50% or more of the shares or voting rights.

Country refers to: Saudi Arabia.

Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") refers to Alsalah, headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Device means any device capable of accessing the Service such as a computer, mobile phone, or tablet.

By accessing or using the Service, You confirm that:

If You are using the Service on behalf of a company, investment fund, or other legal entity, You confirm that You have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Alsalah is an investment enablement platform that facilitates connections between investors and startups.

  • Startup application and onboarding programs

  • Communication tools between investors and founders

  • Investment analytics and evaluation tools

  • Startup and investor databases

Alsalah provides a technology platform only and does not act as an investment advisor, broker, or financial intermediary.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, Users may be required to create an account.

When creating an account You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials

  • Be responsible for all activity under Your account

  • Notify Alsalah immediately of unauthorized access

Alsalah reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

  • Remove false or misleading profiles

  • Restrict access to the Service

Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting Alsalah.

4. Platform Plans and Services

Some services may require payment.

These may include:

  • Startup onboarding services

  • Investment readiness services

  • Pitch deck preparation

  • Investor access plans

  • Premium platform features

Services may be offered as:

  • One-time payments

  • Subscription plans

The features included in each plan will be described on the Website.

Alsalah reserves the right to modify pricing or discontinue services at its discretion.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed through approved payment providers such as:

  • Credit or debit cards

  • Digital payment platforms

  • Other supported payment gateways

For subscription plans:

  • Plans renew automatically unless cancelled.

  • Billing occurs on the original subscription date.

  • Users must cancel before the next billing period to avoid renewal charges.

Once a transaction is completed, a digital receipt will be issued.

6. Investment Disclaimer

Alsalah does not provide investment advice.

The platform does not guarantee:

  • Investment opportunities

  • Investment returns

  • Startup success

  • Funding outcomes

Alsalah does not participate in investment transactions between investors and startups.

All investment decisions are made independently by users and at their own risk.

Alsalah is not responsible for any financial loss resulting from investments made through connections facilitated by the platform.

7. User Content

Users may upload or submit information including:

  • Startup profiles

  • Investor profiles

  • Financial documents

  • Pitch decks

  • Messages and communications

Users retain ownership of their content.

By submitting content, You grant Alsalah a non-exclusive worldwide license to:

  • host

  • store

  • display

  • process

the content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

Users are fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of their content.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Violate intellectual property rights

  • Upload malicious software

  • Use the platform for fraud or illegal activities

  • Collect personal information of other users without consent

  • Interfere with the operation of the platform

Alsalah may suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content including:

  • trademarks

  • logos

  • text

  • design

  • software

  • databases

is owned by or licensed to Alsalah and protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not copy, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party platforms or services.

Alsalah does not control or assume responsibility for third-party content, policies, or practices.

Users access third-party services at their own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alsalah shall not be liable for:

  • investment losses

  • business interruptions

  • data loss

  • indirect or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to the platform during the previous twelve months.

12. "As Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

Alsalah does not guarantee that the Service will:

  • be uninterrupted

  • be error-free

  • meet specific expectations

13. Termination

Alsalah may suspend or terminate access to the Service immediately if a user:

  • violates these Terms

  • provides false information

  • misuses the platform

Upon termination, the user's right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

Any dispute arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saudi Arabia.

15. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between the User and Alsalah, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue through informal communication.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to arbitration or the appropriate courts in Saudi Arabia.

16. Changes to These Terms

Alsalah reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Users will be notified of significant updates through the Website or email.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
